The Ox is the second animal sign in the twelve-year Chinese zodiac cycle and is compatible with those born under the sign of Snake and Rooster.
The Ox is well known as a steadfast, reliable, hard worker who tirelessly and patiently pursues the various goals in their life. The original “My word is my bond” type of person, when an Ox makes a promise, you can usually consider it done.
With their dignity and integrity, most times beyond compare and reproach, the Ox is often found to be the backbone of the community. Very seldom swayed by public opinion, with an almost instinctual sense of duty, they can nearly always be counted on to keep priorities straight.
This second animal sign rules the time 1:00 am to 3:00 am. The direction is North by Northwest. The season is Winter and January is its primary month. The Ox, like the Rat, in the Chinese zodiac cycle corresponds to Sagittarius in western astrology.
If you are lucky enough to have an Ox person in your life, chances are they will always have your back….no matter what.
