The Dragon is the fifth animal sign in the twelve-year Chinese zodiac cycle and is compatible with those born under the sign of Rat and Monkey.
For those born under the Dragon, a purpose and mission are usually essential for their well-being. It is the goal greater than themselves, the fight that must be fought, that most often emboldens them to keep going.
Most Dragons are known for their high level of energy. Rarely staying still, they are the personification of intensity, stamina, and strength. Considered the sign of wealth and power, Dragons are unfamiliar with defeat. Ever the optimist, most will continue their crusades regardless of circumstances and setbacks. Like the mythical creature itself, Dragons are usually hard to stop. And, also like the mythical creature, it customarily requires that people believe in them.
This fifth animal sign rules the time 7:00 am to 9:00 am. The direction is East-Southeast. The season is Spring and April is its primary month. The Dragon in the Chinese zodiac cycle corresponds to Aries in western astrology.
If you are lucky enough to have a Dragon person in your life, be prepared for a lot of activity, a lot of action…. a lot of everything.
