Attempts at partnership and co-operation were the top priority for last year’s agenda as was trying to understand and deal with conflict. These were the key elements for working with the Sheep energy last year. So how did you do? This year is the Year of the Monkey. It is the Chinese year 4714 and begins on Monday, February 8, 2016. Quick witted and lively, Monkeys are resourceful, honest, sociable and gentle. When tired, overly stressed or focused on the negative, they become jealous, suspicious, arrogant and cunning. Thus are the general characteristics of the Monkey year to come. With Monkey’s unpredictability, anything can happen. Plans can succeed and risks can be rewarded. The important thing to keep in mind this year is to avoid wasting time on useless endeavors. If something is going in the wrong direction, make new plans.
